"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" is the prequel to a story that is familiar to many of us. This film gives the backstory to the villain many know simply as Leatherface, who first terrified moviegoers over 30 years ago. Beginning with his birth, "The Beginning" gives us some insight into the family that molded this hideous creature to become the killing machine we have become so familiar with. The story also follows a pair of young couples on a road trip. The boys are on their way to serve in Vietnam, and their girlfriends are along for the ride. When their vehicle meets with disaster, and they find themselves in need of the local sherriff's aid, the terror begins.
